WELCOME TO ALIENGROVE FICTION
Yeah, we know, there are thousands of literary sites out there. What makes us different? Our aim is to publish new fiction that reflects the times we live in. With a bias towards noir, we are not looking for "nice" stories. If you write "nice" stories there are plenty of other sites that will be happy to take your work. We're looking for writing that makes the reader think, that strips away the polished veneer of modern day society. Stories with a twist in the tail are especially welcome. Sexually explicit content is OK as long as the story is not just pornography. All stories will be vetted by the editorial team before being put up live on the site. One story each month will be chosen as the featured story. The authors retain all copyright.

| We've been a bit quiet recently due to to some extraterrestrial excursions, but we're back and still looking for submissions, so if you've any stories, poems or rants gathering dust send them in.
This month a new story by Allen Grove tells the story of Frank, who finds love by accident. It's loosely based on a disturbing true story published by a tabloid recently.
Enjoy, and send in your own stories. Our aim is to make this the home of unusual or bizarre British fiction. Shortly the site will be undergoing a makeover, but should not be offline more than a few days. |
